I lived in Taipei for 10 months... loved it. I hope you got to experience the night markets, the unmistakable smell of "cho do fu" (fermented, deep-fried tofu), and the wonderful crush of people surrounding you.

you lived there? wow, how did you manage it? i was there for a few weeks and started to realise that it would be almost impossible for me to stay for work. although it is an amazing country, and i would have loved to stay.

what you describe is exactly how it is :)
